About the role
Monda Lodge is a 20 bedded Residential Aged Care Home. Within this role you will be:
Assisting residents with personal care and other activities of daily living, maintaining residents freedom of choice, independence, privacy and dignity
Will have your own champion area
Assists maintenance of a hygienic and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff
Communicate effectively with all members of the team, residents and their families in delivery of resident care.
Observe residents and reports any changes in resident health or wellbeing, incidents or adverse events.
Carries out duties in accordance within your scope of practice and Eastern Health’s policies and procedures.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Previous experience in Residential Aged Care
Current registration with AHPRA
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
