Tequila Sunrise Hostels is currently seeking a motivated and skilled
Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for supporting the design and development of the company's
construction and renovation projects by preparing accurate technical
documentation and collaborating with the project team. The ideal candidate
should possess relevant experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability
to perform effectively in a dynamic and professional work environment.
The Role:
We are looking for Architectural Draftsperson who can work within a dynamic
and high performing environment.
Key duties will include but not limited to:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, room layouts, and
fit-out documentation for new hostel developments, refurbishment
projects, and capsule accommodation facilities using computer-aided
drafting software.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, interior designers, and
construction contractors to develop technical documentation thatsupports the construction, renovation, and upgrading of hostel
properties while meeting operational and design requirements.
- Revise and maintain architectural drawings by incorporating project
updates, design improvements, and site feedback to ensure construction
documentation accurately reflects approved development plans.
- Develop detailed layout plans for guest rooms, communal areas,
reception spaces, kitchens, and shared amenities, ensuring efficient use
of available space and compliance with relevant building and safety
requirements.
- Conduct site visits during construction and refurbishment projects to
verify that building works are progressing in accordance with approved
drawings, design specifications, and quality standards, and document
any variations requiring amendments.
- Prepare material schedules, quantity estimates, and technical
documentation to support project budgeting, procurement activities, and
the timely delivery of hostel construction and renovation projects.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience as Architectural Draftsperson or in the
similar
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and
construction methods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Pay: $108,680.00 per year
