Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Real Estate Signboard Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting, installing, maintaining, and removing real estate signboards, posts, and rider signs across Northwest and Southwest Sydney.
You will serve as a crucial touchpoint for our brand and our real estate clients, ensuring that every sign is placed safely, accurately, and in compliance with local council regulations and client instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Removal: Safely install, assemble, and remove timber/metal signposts, vinyl overlays, solar lights, and accessory signs (e.g., "For Sale," "Sold," "Open House") at designated properties.
- Route & Logistics: Plan efficient daily driving routes to complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Site Preparation: Inspect installation sites for underground utilities, landscape obstacles, and local council regulations before digging or installing posts.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform on-site repairs or post adjustments (e.g., straightening leaning posts, replacing damaged graphics or solar lights).
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of signboards, posts, hardware, and tools in your vehicle. Inform management of damaged or low-stock supplies.
- Client Communication & Tech: Use our mobile routing/job app to log completed jobs, take proof-of-installation photo confirmation, and report any site issues in real time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Required).
- Vehicle: Must have your own reliable truck, ute, or van capable of hauling long posts.
- Equipment: Must supply own flag holders, wooden posts and star pickets. Basic tools and ladders will be provided
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 23+ kg regularly, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual tasks (digging, hammering, climbing ladders).
- Tools Knowledge: Experience using basic hand and power tools (post-hole diggers, drills, levels, hammers, sledgehammers).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read work orders carefully and place signs precisely where requested, ensuring posts are perfectly level and straight.
- Reliability & Tech Literacy: Strong time-management skills and comfort using smartphone apps for job tracking and photo uploads.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and standing for long periods.
- Working outdoors year-round in cold, heat, or rain.
