Key responsibilities include:
- Developing authentic relationships with patients and establishing trust throughout their treatment journey
- Taking the time to understand each patient’s individual needs, objectives, concerns and any obstacles to treatment
- Communicating treatment recommendations clearly, including the proposed plan and required next steps
- Discussing treatment costs, payment methods and available financing options with patients
- Supporting patients with payment arrangements and, where applicable, early release of superannuation options
- Responding to patient enquiries and providing reassurance when concerns or questions arise
- Preparing tailored patient resources and treatment-planning information to support informed decision-making
- Facilitating treatment acceptance and ensuring a smooth transition to the scheduling team
- Maintaining contact with patients who require additional time before committing to treatment
- Providing consistently high-quality communication while keeping patient information and records accurate and up to date
- Managing and progressing your patient pipeline to ensure all potential treatment opportunities are appropriately followed up
- Tracking treatment acceptance rates and reviewing individual performance against agreed outcomes
- This role extends well beyond administration. Treatment Coordinators are an integral part of delivering an outstanding patient experience while also contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the practice.
Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
