The Venue
Inspired by the Deli’s of New York our full deli counter has a full range of premium smallgoods, cheese, dips, antipasto and more from the best local and international producers. The kitchen crafts everything from tasty Reubens to panini, bagels, baked goods, condiments, sauces, and more.
The Role
We’re on the hunt for a casual barista/all-rounder to join our busy deli/café on a long-term basis. If you’ve got a natural flair for hospitality, love working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy making people feel welcome, we’d love to hear from you!
This is a hands-on role covering everything from coffee-making and customer service to deli and retail sales. You’ll need to be confident with café operations, cash handling, and jumping in wherever needed. A friendly, outgoing attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay composed under pressure are essential. We’re also after someone who’s well-presented, mature, and reliable; a true team player who’s ready to roll up their sleeves.
About You:
- Confident with coffee making (2+ year experience a must)
- Background in hospitality
- Great with customers, works well under pressure
- Solid communication & teamwork skills
- Comfortable using a POS system
- Full working rights in Australia
- Fluent in English
