About the Role: As the Senior Psychologist, you’ll provide clinical leadership and specialist expertise within the headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) program, supporting clinicians to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological care.
You’ll provide supervision, consultation, education and training, while offering specialist assessment and therapeutic intervention for young people with complex presentations. You’ll champion approaches including CBT, trauma-informed and family-inclusive care, helping build clinical capability across the multidisciplinary team.
Working autonomously and collaboratively, you’ll help shape and develop services that promote recovery, strengthen best practice and improve outcomes for young people and their families.

Experience Requirements:
Experience working in mental health, preferably with young people, including group settings.
Strong skills in assessment, engagement, case management and evidence-based psychological interventions.
Demonstrated clinical leadership, including supervision, training and education.
Ability to use research and evidence to guide clinical practice.
Strong communication, teamwork and conflict-management skills, including de-escalation.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
Registration as a psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009). Practice endorsement or eligibility to enter a registrar program as a clinical/clinical neuropsychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
Registration to practice as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
