We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader to lead our Out of School Hours (OOSH) service. Reporting to the OOSH Director, this role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, leadership of the OOSH team, and the development and oversight of a high-quality educational program that supports the growth and wellbeing of school-aged children.
This is a permanent full time role, commencing at earliest availability.
Pacific Hills Christian School is a co-educational K-12 Christian school with 1500 students, located in Dural, in the Hills District of Sydney. As the OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader, you will:
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the OOSH service.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to OOSH Assistants.
- Develop and maintain engaging, play and leisure-based educational programs.
- Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for children.
- Build strong relationships with families, students, and staff.
- Support policy implementation, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage administration requirements, including ordering supplies and resources.
- Promote best practice in school-age care and remain informed of current sector developments.
- Ensure child safety and wellbeing remain at the forefront of all decision-making and practice.

- Support for the ethos and values of Christian education.
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place v2.0.
- Leadership and administration experience (desirable).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Approved Child Protection and National Child Safety Training.
- A willingness to become a Responsible Person for the service.
