The Role
No day is the same, the Support Worker role is perfect for those who love being out and about, meeting and helping people. You will play an important part in assisting individuals to achieve their goals and maintain their well-being.
Key Details:
- Flexible casual schedule
- 2 x shifts per week (3 hours per shift initially)
- Opportunity for increased hours as rapport is built
- Shifts to commence after 11am (excluding Thursdays)
- Community and in-home based supports
The participant requires complex psychosocial support needs. Supports will focus heavily on:
- Building healthy routines and structure
- Encouraging self-care and personal hygiene
- Meal preparation and daily living tasks
- Community participation (walks, gym, outings)
- Emotional regulation and verbal support
- Reducing social isolation and dependence on informal supports
Checks
All staff must have current a NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, First Aid & CPR, and covid certification. A driver's license and car is required.
