- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $138,539 to $148,283 + super

The role
Work across complex, high-profile state projects, supporting assessments that balance competing stakeholder interests while delivering timely, high-quality planning outcomes. You’ll play a key role in tackling contentious issues and find practical solutions that keep projects moving and meet legislative requirements.
This role puts you at the centre of improving how the planning system works—driving smarter processes, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and shaping decisions that deliver efficient, consistent outcomes for government, industry and the community.

What you will bring to the role
- Clearly communicate complex planning issues, to support delivery of strong written recommendations
- Analyse complex problems and develop practical, evidence-based solutions
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate to achieve project outcomes
What is an essential requirement:
- Degree in environmental science or management, engineering, planning, or other relevant discipline
- Willingness to travel and (minimum) Class C Driver’s License
