We are looking for an experienced Room Leader / Diploma Educator to join our Early Learning Centre in Tempe, NSW. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Childcare Educator who is passionate about children, early learning and building a long-term career in the early childhood sector.
About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will lead your room, support your team and deliver high-quality learning experiences that promote children's development, wellbeing and learning.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of your childcare room
- Plan and implement engaging programs aligned with the EYLF
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing
- Mentor and support Early Childhood Educators
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Complete observations, documentation and educational planning
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging early learning environment
- Ensure compliance with the NQF, NQS and centre policies
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- 2–3 years' experience as a Room Leader
- Experience as an Early Childhood Educator / Diploma Educator
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and NQS
- A genuine passion for child development and early learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, reliable and professional approach
- A willingness to learn, grow and develop as a leader
