Our Commercial team is growing! We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join our experienced commercial team. Reporting to the General Manager, Commercial, you will lead and support commercial activities across the pre-contracts lifecycle, working closely with our Corporate Development & Origination team on bids, transactions and strategic opportunities.
You will provide clear, commercially grounded advice, shape deal positions and influence stakeholders to achieve strong commercial outcomes. You will play a key role in securing new work, strengthening our commercial position and supporting the diversification of our portfolio. You will join a high-performing and supportive team and contribute directly to building a sustainable pipeline and long-term business performance
You will be accountable for:
Effective and timely management of upstream and downstream contracts and commercial activities
- Managing stakeholder interfaces across internal, client and partner organisations
- Acting as the commercial representative for allocated projects
- Proactive identification, allocation and management of risk and opportunity
Providing commercial leadership across bids and transactions, including: commercial strategy and positioning, pricing inputs, assumptions and value drivers, contract structuring and risk allocation, negotiation planning and execution

This is a fulltime, permanent role, and can be based in any of our major east coast offices.
About You:
- 7+ years’ experience in commercial or contracts management, including exposure to pre-contracts or bid environments
- Experience in rollingstock or major infrastructure projects, including PPPs, D&C, and O&M
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Business or equivalent
- Strong negotiation capability with the ability to influence outcomes in complex environments
- Demonstrated ability to solve commercial problems and improve outcomes
Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
