Our work at the Festive store is centred on creating beautiful commercial Christmas decorations and experiences for our clients through our designs and production teams.
Job Purpose
TheChristmas Stylist / Decorator joins our team for the upcoming Christmas season preparation in a hands-on creative role based within our Coburg North warehouse and production studio.
You’ll work across style and decorating development, production preparation, and on-site installations within a fast-paced and highly creative environment.
The Role
You’ll work closely within our Christmas decorating team to bring commercial Christmas Trees, swags and garlands to life for major clients and venues.
Across any given week, you may be:
- Decorating large-scale Christmas trees both in the warehouse and on client sites
- Styling and decorating commercial greenery, garlands, wreaths, and feature pieces
- Preparing and packing décor for projects installations and documenting designs within project systems
- Working safely on ladders to access stock and decorations within the warehouse
- Maintaining workspaces to ensure operational and safety standards
- Driving vans, cars, or trucks to client sites, where licensed
- Participating in ongoing training, workshops, and safety procedures
You will be successful in this role if:

What We’re Looking For
This role suits someone with practical decorating and styling experience who enjoys working hands-on in a production environment.
You should ideally have:
- An eye for colour, composition, balance, and large-scale styling
- The ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- A practical and solutions-focused mindset
- A willingness to work physically and safely in a warehouse and installation environment
- Previous experience in commercial Christmas decorating, visual merchandising, event styling, floristry, or related creative industries

- Typical hours: 9am – 5:00pm
- Some limited flexibility available
- Based at The Festive Store warehouse & production studio in Coburg North
- Additional hours, including weekends during peak installation periods required (November)

- Pure office or studio-based creative work
- Slow-paced environments
- Minimal physical work
- Highly repetitive production roles with little creativity

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
