- Hands-on across fundraising, from processing gifts to shaping campaigns.
About the role:
At the Climate Council, "supporter care" means something bigger than ticket resolution. You're the human voice for a community actively working to secure Australia's climate future.
You'll answer calls, reply to emails, and process donations, but more than that, you'll listen. Every conversation is a data point, and you'll turn what you hear into insights that sharpen how we fundraise, retain and grow the community that powers our work.
You will have:

A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role (e.g. donor support or customer service)
- A confident, professional and engaging phone manner, ready to be the first voice donors hear
- Strong written communication skills, and the judgement to manage donations, receipts and enquiries accurately
- Curiosity and research skills to spot trends in supporter behaviour and turn them into insights for the Fundraising team
- Strong planning, multi-tasking and time management skills to balance inbound support with fundraising administration and outbound stewardship
- Excellent administration and organisational skills, including strong attention to detail (especially with CRM data)
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
- Experience using Salesforce is desirable
- Knowledge of climate impacts and solutions is desirable
