About the role:
The Reporting, Risk and Compliance Analyst supports the effective delivery of reporting, risk management and compliance activities within Health Technology Services (HTS). The role contributes to the development and delivery of key reports and dashboards and provides analysis of performance against Service Level Agreements and other key performance metrics to support informed decision-making by internal and external stakeholders.
Working as part of a high-performing team, the role supports HTS business assurance activities across risk, compliance and controls. This includes assisting staff to understand and meet audit and compliance requirements, supporting the consistent application of reporting standards, governance frameworks and departmental policies, and providing operational support for reporting and collaboration tools, including SharePoint. The role also contributes to project activities as required.
The position works closely with stakeholders across Health Technology Services and Digital Health to strengthen reporting capability, improve visibility of performance, and support effective monitoring, governance and assurance across services in a complex, technology-enabled environment.

Can you demonstrate the following?

Interprets and applies business plans and policies to own area of responsibility Advice and analysis contributes to policy formulation

Applies departmental policies, frameworks and business plans to analyse issues, provide advice and support consistent and effective reporting, risk and compliance practices.

Supports effective communication by assisting with the preparation of reports, and correspondence, contributing to project‑related communications, and engaging with stakeholders to support shared understanding and outcomes under guidance.

Applies relevant theoretical and practical knowledge to support operational problem‑solving, contribute to the analysis of policy or process options, and follow established processes and procedures.

Provides administrative and analytical support across reporting, risk and compliance activities, including assisting with the interpretation and analysis of data to inform reports and insights.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
-
Tertiary qualifications in business, data analytics, information management, ICT or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Demonstrated experience supporting risk management, process improvement and/or compliance and auditing activities is desirable.

ITIL Foundations certification (or equivalent) is desirable.

Experience in collating, analysing and presenting organisational performance data, including identifying trends and insights from large and varied data sources.

Experience in preparing reports and dashboards using industry-standard tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, SQL or similar).

Experience supporting stakeholders to meet reporting, compliance or governance requirements is desirable.
