Motor Vehicle Buyer / Acquisition Specialist
Sold Fast is a growing motor vehicle buying business based in Burwood, NSW. We purchase quality used vehicles directly from the public and are looking for a motivated and results-driven Motor Vehicle Buyer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, negotiating, building relationships and generating their own opportunities.
About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be purchasing quality used vehicles for the business.
You will:
- Contact and negotiate with customers from company-generated leads.
- Prospect and generate your own vehicle purchasing opportunities.
- Build relationships with private sellers and local businesses.
- Inspect and appraise vehicles.
- Negotiate purchase prices.
- Meet monthly purchasing targets.
- Maintain accurate records and follow up potential sellers.
This role is suited to someone who is proactive, self-motivated and enjoys creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive sales, buying or wholesale experience is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Confident communicating with customers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up prospects.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Good computer skills.
Performance Expectations
This is a performance-based role.
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Achieve monthly vehicle purchasing targets.
- Generate their own purchasing opportunities in addition to working company-provided leads.
- Build and maintain their own network of vehicle sellers.
- Consistently contribute to the growth of the business.
