Junior Apprentice Chef - Highfields Tavern
Highfields Tavern is seeking an enthusiastic 1st Year Apprentice Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team in an exciting, hands-on role where you will learn from the best in the business. Working alongside our experienced chefs, you will kickstart your culinary career and gain invaluable, practical experience across all sections of a high-volume kitchen while completing your trade qualification.
We are looking for a passionate, reliable team player with a genuine drive to learn and full availability to work a flexible, rotating roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays. What you’ll do:
- Bring your passion for great food and creating moments that matter for our guests
- Work alongside qualified Chefs to learn everything you need to know about running a successful, high-volume kitchen.
- Maintain top-tier food hygiene and safety standards.
- Be a reliable team player with full availability to tackle busy days, nights, and weekends.
What do we need from you
What you’ll need:
- Experience working in a hands-on commercial kitchen would be great but not essential
- Dedicated passion to learn and grow both on the job and off the job in a learning environment
- Strong communication and organisation skills
