About the Role
You will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care in his/her specific area. You will work across all sites of SVHM Medical Imaging including PET, NM, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and the DSA Suite. You will be provided the opportunity to attend regular in-house professional development sessions in order to maintain clinical skills and knowledge. You will be required to complete credentialling hurdles and participate in the Medical Imaging on-call nursing roster.

Patient assessment and provision of ongoing care as required

Procedural nursing including scrubbing and scouting, inclusive of conscious sedation

Communicating with carers, the hospital community and members of the multidisciplinary team.
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).
Your Contribution
- Degree in general nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

About Medical Imaging
Medical Imaging provides diagnostic and interventional imaging to both St Vincent’s public and private hospitals. The Medical Imaging Nurse works as part of the multidisciplinary to provide nursing care for these patients across all areas of the department over 4 sites.
