About the Role
Paper Plane Factory Cafe is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic cafe team! This role offers a great blend of barista duties and front-of-house operations in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. We welcome applicants of all experience levels and backgrounds, whether you are a student, career changer, or hospitality professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality coffee and maintaining the coffee station.
- Taking customer orders and delivering friendly, efficient table service.
- Assisting with general cafe duties, including cleaning, restocking, and maintaining a welcoming space.
- Processing transactions securely using our POS system.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 days availability per week (including some weekend shifts).
- Previous hospitality or coffee-making experience is preferred, but a great attitude is essential.
- Working well in a team but also independently and proactively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive during busy peak periods.
- Reliable, punctual, organised and presentable.
- Valid work rights in Australia.
