Café Supervisor / All-Rounder
Rex Espresso Canberra is looking for an experienced, hands-on Café Supervisor / All-Rounder to oversee the day-to-day running of our café.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident leading a team while also working alongside them across all areas of the café.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on management of the day-to-day running of the café
- Working across both front and back of house duties
- Preparing consistently high-quality coffee in a high-volume environment
- Preparing focaccias, sandwiches and other café food
- Preparing weekly staff rosters
- Supervising and supporting café staff
- Communicating stock and supply requirements to the off-site manager
- Ensuring the café is clean, organised and well maintained
- Ensuring staff are presentable and maintaining high service standards
About You
- Experienced and confident barista
- Previous café supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience preparing focaccias, sandwiches and similar café food
- Confident managing staff and preparing rosters
- Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of the café's daily operations
- Willing to be hands-on and assist wherever needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
