About the role
We are changing the way children learn and teachers teach. We empower our teachers to teach differently through a structured curriculum, our scientific approach, unique teaching methodology and problem solving strategy.
In this role, your duties will involve working closely with an experienced team under the supervision of our headteacher and will include responsibilities such as:
- Teaching in a classroom using our research-based curriculum both after school and/or Saturday
- Small group teaching sessions (Avg of 5 and max of 8 students)
- Lesson preparation(minimal), we use our pre-written curriculum & structured training program using our LMS system to suit all learning types
- Lesson and minimal homework marking
- Communication with headteacher regarding student progression.
Skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
- NSW Working With Children's Check and Police check
- Availability to attend the centre for agreed allocated time slot for teaching
- Experience with teaching online using Microsoft Teams is a bonus
We look for someone who:
- Possesses a genuine passion for teaching
- Ability to use our LMS as a key resource tool for teaching
- Is excellent in communication
- Hold a current WWCC
- Holds (or about to complete) a degree in Education and/or a degree in Arts, Philosophy, History plus a Diploma in Education

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
