About the role
You will be a Qualified Veterinary Nurse providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a friendly veterinary practice in Strathalbyn. This is a part-time role working closely with animals and their owners as part of a supportive and professional team.
Key responsibilities
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients
- Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures and surgery
- Monitoring anaesthesia and recovering patients
- Preparing and maintaining surgical and treatment areas
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing compassionate and professional client care
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the veterinary practice
About you
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Has previous veterinary nursing experience
- Is confident handling a wide range of animals
- Has excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is organised, reliable and able to prioritise in a busy environment
- Has a genuine passion for animal welfare and patient care
- Brings a positive, friendly attitude to the workplace

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
