GTS is currently seeking Electricians & Supervisors to join our Technical Services department. Applicants that have S26 qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply. We are offering permanent, full-time positions that offer the opportunity to work on diverse projects and develop your technical skills.
As an Electrician or Supervisor at GTS, you will be responsible for:
HV Technicians
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
Performing high voltage (HV) testing and maintenance
Troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing effective solutions
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
Collaborating with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Providing technical support and guidance when necessary
Documenting work activities and maintaining accurate records
Executing HV testing procedures accurately and safely
Conducting electrical installations according to specifications and regulations
Prepare detailed technical reports with recommendations
Electrical Supervisors
Direct and manage field staff in line with Company strategy
Assist where possible in the technical aspects of the jobs
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Manage the day to day site works and maintain quality standards
Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback and coaching
Ensure company KPI targets are met
Supervise sub-contractors where required
Complete site visits and assist in developing detailed work scopes
Drive a very high level of safety compliance
Coordinating with project managers to meet project deadlines and objectives

HV Technician: Hourly rate $50 - $55 per hour, dependent upon skills and experience. Premium loading when away on site. Will need to be flexible with working away.
HV Electrical Supervisor: Annual salary $185,000.00. 2/2 Roster to Newman or Port Hedland

Current WA Full Electrical License
Current LVR/CPR
Must be able to legally work in Australia
Manual Australian Drivers License

Electrical Supervisors
Current WA Full Electrical License
Min. 5 years in the electrical industry
Min. 2 years of supervision
