Location: St Barts - East Perth
Employment Type: Casual - various days and hours
Pay Rate: $27.08 per hour (base rate) + casual loading
Cater Care is currently seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at St Barts in East Perth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive environment and takes pride in delivering a positive dining experience for residents.
In this hands-on role, you will support daily kitchen operations through food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Your contribution will help ensure residents receive high-quality meals and friendly service every day.

What This Role Involves
- Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
- Serve meals and snacks with a high standard of customer service
- Re-stock supplies, including after meal periods
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
- Set tables, plate meals, and support the Chef with general kitchen duties
Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
- Contract catering experience (desirable)
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
