We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Site Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our manufacturing facility, offices, and employee amenities.
Reporting to the Operations Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting workplace health and safety standards while ensuring our site remains clean, organised, and welcoming for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across bathrooms, locker rooms, kitchens, lunchrooms, offices, and production areas
- Clean and sanitise amenities, including toilets, basins, mirrors, floors, and waste bins
- Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and wipe down surfaces throughout the site
- Clean internal and external windows as required
- Conduct pressure washing of designated areas, equipment, and external surfaces
- Perform periodic deep cleaning activities across high-use and high-risk areas
- Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when stock replenishment is required
- Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues, or unsafe conditions
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or facilities cleaning.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling procedures.
- Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and floor cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing housekeeping issues.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
