Childcare Cook (Part-Time)
Twinklekids Early Learning Centre – Pakenham
Pakenham Twinklekids Early Learning Centre is looking for a reliable and caring Childcare Cook to join our team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5 years, supporting their health and development in a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Hours
- Part-time (Monday to Friday)
- Approx. 20–30 hours per week
- No weekends or late nights
Duties
- Prepare morning tea, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea daily
- Follow childcare nutrition guidelines
- Cater for allergies and dietary requirements
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Manage stock and food ordering
- Prepare seasonal menu
Requirements
- Experience as a cook (childcare experience preferred)
- Food Safety Certificate
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
