Beach Road Winery & Restaurant is a family-owned winery and restaurant in the heart of McLaren Vale. We're known for our relaxed hospitality, award-winning wines, seasonal dining, weddings and private events.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Hospitality Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help shape the next chapter of our business.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Owners, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our restaurant and front-of-house operations while working closely with our Head Chef and Weddings & Events Coordinator.
This is primarily a daytime role, with occasional evening shifts for weddings and private functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing the front-of-house, and back-of-house team.
- Recruiting, onboarding, training and rostering team members.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences across the restaurant, cellar door and events.
- Managing day-to-day restaurant operations and service standards.
- Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver seamless food and beverage service.
- Overseeing venue presentation and maintaining a premium guest experience.
- Managing beverage operations, stock control and supplier relationships.
- Working collaboratively with our marketing team to support promotions, campaigns and special events.
- Identifying opportunities to improve service, efficiency and business performance.
- Building a positive, respectful and accountable workplace culture.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example and creating memorable hospitality experiences.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a hospitality leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with recruitment, rostering and team development.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Wine knowledge or a genuine passion to learn.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and genuine passion for hospitality.
