FISHBOI is seeking a passionate and skilled chef to join our team at Springwood Mall, Queensland.
We are a well-established casual seafood restaurant committed to serving fresh, high-quality seafood at an affordable price. We specialise in live oysters shucked to order, seafood cooked over our custom-made charcoal grill, and classic fish and chips.
About the Role
This is a full-time chef position offering:
- An annual salary of $79,500 plus superannuation
- Annual leave and all applicable employment entitlements
- A supportive and professional working environment
- Australian visa sponsorship for the right candidate, including subclass 482 and a potential subclass 186 pathway, subject to eligibility and business requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years of relevant commercial kitchen experience
- Seafood preparation and cooking experience, which is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistency
- A reliable and professional attitude
- A strong work ethic
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for producing high-quality food
- The ability to perform effectively in a busy kitchen environment
- Fish-filleting and oyster-shucking skills, which will be highly regarded
