What you'll be doing
As a Health Information and Records Service Officer, you'll ensure patient information is accurately managed and readily available to support clinical care. You'll be responsible for digitising, maintaining and tracking healthcare records while meeting quality, productivity and confidentiality standards.
Digitise paper and electronic clinical documents by preparing, scanning, validating and uploading records to the electronic medical record (eMR).
Manage hybrid health records through retrieval, tracking, filing, storage and secure destruction in line with legislation and policy.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of patient records while achieving quality and productivity targets.
Liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams to retrieve records and support patient care, clinical coding and research activities.
Deliver responsive customer service, contribute to team operations and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
