About the role
We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker who lives in and around the Flinders area to support a 49 year-old male participant who has a Traumatic Brain Injury and a Spinal Cord Injury. The participant is currently residing in his own home with 24/7 support and is also wheel-chair dependent.

Duties include but not limited too
- Medication administration
- Bowel management
- Assistance with allied healthcare plans
- Manual Handling
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Use of special equipment
- Community participation
- Behaviour management
- Documentation and reporting
Qualified Allied healthcare professionals will also provide education in specific allied healthcare plans.
What you need:
- Current references
- Mobile Phone
- Current driver's license and your own car
- NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
- Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain - Paid (mandatory)
- Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
