As a Revenue Officer, you will analyse, interpret, and apply relevant legislation and policy on revenue and taxation matters; follow approved procedures, make assessments, approve grants, respond to technical enquiries, exercise delegations and coach team members to deliver excellent service to our clients.
Your typical day as a Revenue Officer may include:
- Registering and assessing clients.
- Assist the team leader in supporting and coaching team members to ensure a client-centric approach.
- Analyse, interpret, and apply relevant legislation and policy.
- Answering client phone calls and responding to technical enquiries, ensuring a positive client experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- High level interpersonal skills and strong client focus.
- Ability to build working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems.
- Experience in contributing towards team outcomes.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation and/or policy or the ability to rapidly acquire this capability.
There are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications are highly regarded (e.g. law, business or accounting).
