Up to $86,580.00 (YP3) - $107,510.00 (YP9) base salary per annum - Full-Time equivalent to be pro-rated for Part-Time.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Cancer Imaging is seeking Registered Nurses with experience in medical imaging, cardiac catheter lab, operating theatre, oncology, or surgical nursing seeking change and willing to expand on their current capability. The position offers an exciting opportunity to upskill in both imaging procedural practice and oncology nursing.

Cancer imaging is a comprehensive and dynamic medical imaging service that conducts diagnostic imaging, provides therapeutic nuclear medicine treatments, and performs interventional radiological procedures across 2 sites for both inpatients and outpatients, contributing to groundbreaking cancer research and life-saving treatments.

We are seeking Full Time or Part Time Registered Nurses with the following skills:
Recent experience in Imaging, Radiology, Cath Lab, Oncology, Operating Theatre/Day Surgery or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years recent acute experience
Strong interest in procedural nursing
Commitment to being rostered on call once skilled in angiography/fluoroscopy, ultrasound and other interventional procedures
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to life long learning and continuing professional development
Capable of providing patient focussed approach to care
Demonstrated team player attituide who can foster collaborative partnerships

Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse at Peter Mac you are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for our patients. The Registered Nurse is a key member of the health care team responsible for ensuring nursing professional, organization, legal and ethical standards are met. The Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising and delegating to other health care professionals such as Enrolled Nurses and Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing (RUSON).

12 Months recent acute medical or surgical nursing experience
Willingness to learn care of the oncolgy patinet in cancer imaging across modalities

Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
Desirable Requirements
