Queensland Blue Card (Suitability for Working with Children) – can obtain once with SWJ

Current CPR and Senior First Aid certificate or equivalent and the appropriate theoretical and practical training to provide emergency medical care

Demonstrable experience and success in educating groups of teenagers, and the energy and enthusiasm to keep them interested
-
Demonstrable experience and success in multi-day tour guiding or tour organisation
-
Strong safety awareness and risk management skills
-
Knowledge of Wet Tropics flora and fauna

Ability to present positive aspects of Aboriginal culture and to discuss current Indigenous issues

Knowledge of Cairns restaurants, shops and landmarks

Have Queensland Driver’s Authority and appropriate license class (at least Light Rigid) or the ability to get one once hired
