We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of driving and on-site operational work in a fast-paced depot environment.
About the Role
This position involves operating company vehicles for collections while also assisting with day-to-day depot operations. You’ll play a key role in keeping our site running efficiently and safely.
The Role:
This position requires a person with good people skills.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Driving company trucks to complete scheduled pickups
- Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
- Compliance with policies, procedures and instructions
- Following all safety procedures and traffic management requirements
- Completing daily checklists and basic reporting via our internal platform
- Report all incidents, injuries, hazards and near misses.
- Report all truck faults / incidents.
About you:
- Previous experience working in the waste management and/or recycling industries
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with management
- Ability to work during site operating hours between 6am – 6pm and undertake shift work as required.
- Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role within WHS guidelines including the lifting of weights, pushing and pulling.
- Ability to pass pre employment and random ongoing Drug and Alcohol testing
Licenses
- Car Drivers license ( MUST)
