We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
This role involves providing high-quality assessment, intervention and support for children and young people with a range of communication and feeding needs. You'll work closely with families, educators, support workers and other allied health professionals to help participants achieve meaningful goals and increase independence.
Our clinicians have the flexibility to work across clinic, community, home, school and telehealth settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication and swallowing assessments.
- Develop individualised therapy plans aligned with participant goals.
- Deliver evidence-based, neuroaffirming therapy.
- Support children with:
- Speech sound disorders
- Language delays
- Social communication
- Autism
- ADHD
- Developmental delays
- Literacy foundations
- AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
- Feeding and mealtime difficulties (within competency)
- Complete high-quality assessment reports and progress reports.
- Develop therapy resources and home programs.
- Work collaboratively with families and carers.
- Liaise with schools, childcare centres, early intervention services and support coordinators.
- Supervise and support Therapy Assistants where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Speech pathologists in Australia assess and manage communication and swallowing needs, provide intervention, collaborate with families and other professionals, and produce written reports and referrals as required.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) or eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Current AHPRA registration not required (Speech Pathology Australia membership required).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- National Police Clearance.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
