Deliver Critical Infrastructure Projects That Power Remote Communities
As
Project Manager - Critical Distribution, you'll lead the delivery of critical distribution network infrastructure projects across remote Western Australian communities, helping ensure safe, reliable and sustainable energy outcomes for the people who rely on them every day.
Working across contractors, technical specialists, operations teams and community stakeholders, you'll oversee the delivery of complex infrastructure projects in challenging and rewarding remote environments. From project planning and scheduling through to contractor management, governance, safety and financial oversight, you'll play a key role in delivering critical network improvements that support the long-term reliability of Horizon Power's remote electricity systems.

As a newly created role, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the delivery of Horizon Power's Critical Distribution Program from the ground up. Taking ownership of strategically important distribution network projects, you'll balance technical, commercial and stakeholder requirements to deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective outcomes, while contributing to a significant program of work focused on improving network safety and reliability across remote WA communities.
Your role in action:
- Deliver critical distribution network projects across remote WA communities.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, reporting and governance activities.
- Lead contractor performance across safety, quality, cost and delivery outcomes.
- Coordinate technical, operational and commercial stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Travel to remote locations to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience delivering infrastructure, utilities, energy or electricity network projects.
- Strong contractor management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of project governance, risk management, budgeting and reporting.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and delivering projects safely in operational environments.
- Experience in distribution networks, remote project delivery or the energy industry will be highly regarded
