As our Club Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the action – playing a key role in the daily operation of the club, leading our team on shift, creating memorable member experiences and making sure the club is always buzzing with great service.
About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and hands-on Club Supervisor to join our team at our St Johns Park location, with development towards Relief Duty Manager position.
The Club Supervisor reports to the Duty Manager and works closely with Club attendants to ensure standards of cleanliness and customer service are maintained, and the workflow runs efficiently across the operational departments within the Club.
The shift for this role is based on a rotating roster, including morning, overnight and weekend shifts, as well as public holidays. Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating roster is essential.
Key Responsibilities - Supervisor:
- Support the Duty Manager with the daily operations of the Club including promotions, bar, gaming, TAB, Keno, catering etc
- Support the team through training, coordination and supervision.
- Resolve customers and employees’ queries and escalate where appropriate.
- Complete reports with the use of systems/apps.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Deliver high levels of customer service to our members and guests.
- Assist with maintaining workplace health and safety, legislative compliance and Club procedures.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Upon successfully demonstrating the required skills and responsibility of the Club Supervisor, this role will be considered towards development for Relief Duty Manager to cover Duty Manager leave from time to time.
This role is suited to someone with experience in hospitality who is ready to take the next step into management. You will have increased oversight of the day-to-day Club operations and the opportunity to lead, support and mentor the team, as well as act as a point of escalation for employees.
The ability to train and provide guidance to the team, with a focus on best practice, legislative compliance and work health and safety, is important in this role.
There may be opportunities to take on portfolio responsibilities in areas such as rostering, security, gaming compliance, training etc.
About You:
- High level Frontline experience across bar, gaming, catering.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering Customer Service
- Experience in a Hospitality in a supervisory role
- Current RSA, RCG and ARCG certifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
- A willingness to learn and develop towards a Duty Manager role.
