Hectic Off-Road & Water is looking for a multi-talented, high-energy Videographer & Content Creator to join the crew in Cairns. We don't do boring. We do dirt, mud, water, and adrenaline—and we need someone who can capture that raw energy and turn it into thumb-stopping content.
This isn’t just a job where you sit behind a desk. One day you’ll be chasing ATVs and dirt bikes through the tropical terrain with a drone, the next you’ll be editing high-impact promotional reels for our website and social channels, and the day after you'll be helping us script and shoot an engaging, modern Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) video that people actually want to watch.
What the Role Looks Like:
- Promo Content: Shoot and edit high-quality, fast-paced promotional videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and our official website.
- Aerial Footage: Utilize drone cinematography to capture the epic scale of our off-road and water park activities.
- WHS Video Production: Film and produce a clear, engaging, and professional safety induction video for our staff and visitors.
- The Next Level (Optional Split-Role): If you have the skills, this role can instantly expand into our Advertising & Social Media Manager, where you’ll actively manage our accounts, track engagement, run ad campaigns, and schedule content.
What You Need to Bring:
- The Gear: A professional camera setup capable of high-speed action shots, stabilization gear (gimbals), and waterproof/dustproof housing.
- The Drone Licence: Must have a drone with a high-res camera and hold the relevant licences/accreditations to fly commercially in Australia (CASA rules).
- Editing Skills: Advanced skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve, with a sharp eye for pacing, sound design, and colour grading.
- Local Vibes: Based in or around Cairns, with your own reliable transport to get out to the park.
- Vibe Check: An easy-going attitude but highly professional when it comes to safety and deadlines.
