We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Mining – Drill & Blast team at our Cowal (West Wyalong), NSW operations. This will be on going, long-term project work.
Full time position. DIDO on a company supplied vehicle with accommodation available for those residing outside the West Wyalong area. Roster is 5:2 (days) or 4:3 (days) – day shift only.
The individual will assist in the daily management of the workshop and provide leadership to maintenance and support staff. They will act as the point of contact between the site manager and the maintenance team in the safe and efficient delivery of projects and business goals.
A working knowledge of Epiroc D65 surface drills would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling drill servicing across Epiroc D65s rigs.
- Organising unscheduled repairs.
- Organise resources, provide technical advice, leadership and direction to workshop crew.
- Ensure staff have optimum workloads available as well as hands-on training for safe and efficient performance.
- Identify parts and materials required for daily maintenance activities.
- Manage maintenance and rebuild practices as well as the condition of the workplace to company and industry standards.
- Promote and engage in effective communication across all parts of the business.
- Ensure JSA's, SWP & TAKE 5 procedures and documentation are completed and recorded in line with SRG Global and Client Induction guidelines.
The successful applicant will have:
- A HD Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Supervisory or team leader experience
- Computer literacy
- C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
