Permanent Educator – Nursery | Riverhills
Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week
About the Role
We’re looking for a warm, nurturing, and reliable Early Childhood Educator to join our Nursery team at Journey Riverhills in a permanent part‑time role.
In this role, you’ll support our youngest children through responsive, relationship‑focused care and play‑based learning, helping to create a calm and predictable environment where babies feel safe, secure, and supported to explore and grow. Working closely with your team, you’ll build strong attachments, support daily routines, and contribute to a consistent, high‑quality learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support a calm, nurturing Nursery environment
Build strong, secure relationships with children and families
Deliver play‑based experiences aligned with the EYLF
Follow consistent routines that support care and development
Assist with observations and documentation
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
About You
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Must have completed National Child Safety Training
Experience working with babies or in a Nursery setting
Warm, patient, and responsive approach
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Reliable and team‑focused
Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
