Roll'd Smithfield and Roll'd Cairns Central are seeking qualified and experienced Cooks to join our growing team. We currently have two positions available (one for each location). The successful applicants will be responsible for preparing high-quality Vietnamese cuisine and supporting day-to-day kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Assist the chef in food preparation, seasoning, grilling, hot pot, and wok techniques.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies when required.
- Work effectively during peak periods and collaborate with the kitchen team.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or higher (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum one year of full-time experience.
- Strong experience in grilled, hot pot, and wok cooking techniques.
- Good understanding of food safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual in Vietnamese and English is an advantage.
Salary:
AUD $73,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.
