We are seeking energetic and experienced AIN all rounders with full working rights for our beautiful Aegis Greenfields Facility
This position is not limited to AIN duties. Successful candidates must be flexible and willing to work across AIN, Kitchen Hand (KH), and Cleaner (CLN) duties as required by the facility.
You should ideally be an empathetic person who
- Enjoys working with the elderly
- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting elderly residents and promoting their dignity and independence.
- Experienced (or willing to learn) in assisting with personal care, mobility support, and daily living activities.
- Strong communicator who can build trusting relationships with residents, families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Reliable, observant, and attentive to changes in residents’ health or wellbeing, with a commitment to reporting accurately.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a positive, respectful attitude at all times.

A working day will involve:
As an AIN
- Engaging Residents in daily routines and meaningful activities that enhance wellbeing.
- Supporting and administering medications in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Assisting at mealtimes in line with Aegis’ Excellence in Dining strategy to ensure an enjoyable and dignified dining experience.
As a Kitchen Hand
- Preparing and serving resident’s meals according to dietary / care plans in accordance with developed menus.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with infection control standards.
- Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.
As a Cleaner
- Enjoys interacting with the elderly.
- Can work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required, and as part of the team.
- Is reliable, proactive with a high attention to cleaning details.
You should possess the following:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in Healthcare/Aged Care Industry)
- A certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent)Experience in food preparation and cooking for large number of people.
- A knowledge of food safety.Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting.
- Knowledge of infection control principles and commercial cleaning operations, including the safe use of chemicals.
- Full Australian working rights and able to pass national police clearance.
- Preferably someone living in the local area.
About the facility
Greenfields is a suburb located in Mandurah, south of Perth. Greenfields is easily accessible from the Kwinana Freeway's new extension and on the Perth to Mandurah train line. Aegis Greenfields is an 'ageing in place' facility with High Care, Low Care and Extra Services accommodation available and has been designed to offer a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 106 residents in five areas - Banksia, Tuart, Karri, Jarrah and Wandoo.
Accommodation comprises of single and double rooms, all with large ensuite bathrooms. The different areas or wings all have lounge and dining areas and access to walk paths which surround the gardens within the facility.
