Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced
Customer Care & Accounts Officer to join our Support Office team in Ryde. This is a
full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday.
This role has a strong focus on
childcare accounts,
Child Care Subsidy (CCS),
payment follow-up and
debt management.
This position is ideal for someone who is confident managing
overdue accounts, handling
difficult conversations professionally, and supporting families with billing and CCS enquiries.
What this role actually looks like
As the Customer Care & Accounts Officer, you will support families and centres with childcare accounts, CCS processing, account enquiries and payment resolution.
You will:
- Manage overdue childcare accounts and payment recovery
- Contact families regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements
- Support families with CCS enquiries and account-related issues
- Monitor billing, payments and account reconciliation
- Liaise with centres and internal teams to resolve account concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation across systems
- Deliver professional, empathetic and solutions-focused customer service
- Ensure compliance with company policies and childcare regulations

About you
We are looking for someone who is
organised, confident and experienced in managing customer accounts within a fast-paced environment.
You will have:
- Experience in childcare administration, accounts or debt recovery
- Strong understanding of CCS and childcare billing processes
- Confidence managing difficult conversations professionally
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience using childcare management systems is highly regarded
