Betterway Metal Australia is currently seeking General Labourers to join for an immediate start.
The role will be on-site in North Parramatta / North Rocks.
About the Role
This is a hands-on yard role suited to someone who enjoys active work. You'll be working alongside our experienced crew, handling and sorting scrap metal as clients drive in with their loads. Tasks may include:
- Assisting clients to unload scrap metal from their vehicles
- Handling, sorting materials
- Forklift driving
- General yard assistance as required to keep operations running smoothly

About You
The preferred candidates will have the following:
- Availability Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm.
- Have at least 6 months of physical outdoor work experience in a previous role (concreting, demolition, landscaping, warehouse, removalist, or similar). Scrap experience NOT required.
- Be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Be able to lift 25kg comfortably and repeatedly throughout the work day
- Willingness to learn
- Have the right to work in Australia
Preferred but not necessary:
Pay: $30.00 – $40.81 per hour
