We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaning Team Leader / Working Supervisor to join our growing team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who leads by example, communicates well, takes initiative, and enjoys keeping sites running smoothly.
This is not a purely supervisory role being actively on the tools throughout the day is a non-negotiable part of the position. While you will still be cleaning a lot of the day, part of your role will also involve overseeing site operations, quality control, communication, stock management, and supporting the wider team.
You will act as a key point of contact between cleaners, builders, and management to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting cleaners onsite throughout the day
- Completing high-quality builders and detailed cleaning work
- Sending builder/site confirmation messages the day prior to scheduled works
- Communicating professionally with builders and site supervisors onsite
- Conducting end-of-day walk-throughs and confirming job completion status
- Notifying management of any return visits, additional scope, or onsite issues
- Monitoring site quality, detail standards, and team productivity
- Assisting team members and troubleshooting onsite challenges where required
- Managing stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low
- Assisting with equipment organisation, vehicle upkeep, and supply runs
- Maintaining clear communication with management throughout the day
- Ensuring company systems, documentation, and expectations are followed onsite
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning and/or team leader experience
- Builders clean experience highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, proactive, and organised
- Ability to lead by example while remaining productive onsite
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage site flow confidently
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on cleaning work
- Driver’s licence required
