The Opportunity
Due to our sustained growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with hands-on experience on projects ranging from conceptual studies to detailed design. These position works as part of an engineer team which involves working on a diverse array of projects and clients across the Mineral Processing industry.

Your Day:
- Undertake structural analysis and design tasks for a variety of complex mineral processing or heavy industrial structures,
- Incorporate Australian (or international) standards in design and calculations,
- Work on Australian and international design projects,
- Take responsibility for the production of structural design deliverables, including Reports, Specifications, Drawings, Analysis Models and Calculations Packages, Quantity estimates,
- Undertake field reviews of existing structures and structures under construction,
- Review and evaluate technical work prepared by junior engineers and designers,
- Work collaboratively with project teams and co-workers in multi-disciplinary,
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff working on their projects,
- Work with other disciplines in and across the global offices,
- Assist with proposals and estimating of work-hours and fees,
Assist Design Managers with reporting on design progress.

About You:
- Bachelor of Engineering in the civil or structural engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design/consultancy/operational environment in an engineering capacity
- Knowledge of Australian standards AS 1170, AS 4100, AS 5131, AS 3600
- CPENG and/or P.Eng accreditation
- Savvy in using structural engineering software (SPACE GASS, SAP2000, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in FEA and relevant software (Strand 7, ANSYS, etc.)
Experience in using Navisworks to review 3D design
