What's the role?
Working closely alongside the Regional Modality Lead, this senior-level role offers exposure across General X-ray, CT and women’s imaging within a modern, well-equipped clinic. Mammography and Cone Beam CT experience are preferred but not essential, with ongoing training and development opportunities available.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing high-quality imaging examinations across General X-ray and CT, including contrast studies where required
- Supporting women’s imaging services, including mammography where applicable
- Delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high imaging standards
- Working independently and managing complex clinical situations with confidence and professionalism
- Collaborating with radiologists, referrers and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior radiographers, students and new team members
- Maintaining high standards of image quality, patient care and clinical governance
- Utilising PACS/RIS and digital imaging systems effectively to support efficient workflow and service delivery
- Supporting workflow across modalities and contributing to a positive team culture
- Working flexibly across multiple clinic sites within the region, as required to support operational needs
- Contributing to leadership initiatives, continuous improvement and ongoing professional development
