The Opportunity
A commercially and operations-focused Finance Analyst supporting the Woven Image business, CSR's design-led division specialising in innovative acoustic finishes, textiles, and interior solutions. This role partners closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, actionable insights, and process improvements that support business performance and sustainable growth.
What you will be doing
- Support month-end close, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial results.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform high-quality balance sheet reconciliations (including bank and cash).
- Deliver timely financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts aligned with CSR and Saint-Gobain requirements.
- Analyse business performance across revenue, margins, production costs, and plant efficiency, providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Investigate variances and trends to identify profit improvement and cost optimisation opportunities.
- Support standard costing through analysis of raw materials, BOMs, and manufacturing variances.
- Monitor and analyse working capital performance, including inventory and cash flow metrics.
- Assist with AR/AP processes and reconciliation of accounts across ERP systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process simplification, automation, and system enhancements.
- Support business systems projects impacting commercial and operational functions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, operations, and corporate teams to support decision-making.
What you will bring
- Working towards CPA or CA qualification.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar accounting/finance role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate insights.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Business Central desirable.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Continuous improvement focus, with a willingness to drive efficiencies.
