About the Role

We are looking for someone dedicated to providing exceptional support to our clinicians, administrators, and patients. What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently
- Handling patient inquiries both in person and over the phone with empathy and professionalism
- Checking in patients, confirming appointments, and assisting with paperwork
- Processing Medicare, DVA, private, and bulk billing payments
- Managing referrals, recalls, and patient follow-ups with urgency
- Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient journey
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the practice

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Full Australian working rights
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Available on Weekdays and Saturday
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Best Practice Software
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billing preferred
