This flagship fundraising event supports Ronald McDonald House Central West and will bring together approximately 500 invited guests for an important evening of fundraising and community support.
About the Role
As an RSA event staff member, you will help provide professional table service throughout the evening.
Duties will include:
- Serving bottled wine, beer and soft drinks
- Providing attentive table service to guests
- Delivering meals to approximately 500 invited guests
- Clearing and resetting tables as required
- Working efficiently as part of a large event service team
- Maintaining a professional and well-presented appearance
- Following responsible service of alcohol and workplace health and safety procedures
- Supporting the smooth running of this important fundraising event
About You
We are looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Professional, friendly and well presented
- Comfortable providing table service in a formal event environment
- Able to work efficiently as part of a large team
- Confident communicating with guests
- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the event
- Able to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of service
- Available to work in Orange, NSW, on Saturday, 29 August
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- Be well presented and professional
- Wear an all-black uniform consisting of:
- Black shirt
- Black pants
- Black shoes
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Be comfortable delivering table service to a large number of guests
Previous hospitality, catering, waitstaff or event experience is highly regarded, but reliable applicants with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
