Why Join Smartbuilt Brisbane?
We're not your typical administration team.
At Smartbuilt Brisbane, we're building a modern business supported by technology, streamlined systems, and a team-first culture. With continued growth across our pre-construction, waterproofing and pest management divisions, we're looking for another great person to join our office team.
Based in our recently renovated North Brisbane office, you'll enjoy a modern workplace with quality equipment, free onsite parking and convenient public transport access.
More importantly, you'll join a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together. We invest heavily in training, encourage continuous improvement, embrace new technology and provide opportunities to learn skills across multiple areas of the business.
If you're looking for a long-term career rather than "just another job", we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same thing every day.
Depending on your skills and experience, your responsibilities may include customer service, job scheduling, or administration support. We're more interested in finding the right person than fitting someone into a rigid job description.
You'll work alongside an experienced team and receive ongoing training to broaden your skills as your confidence grows.
Your day could include:
- Assisting customers via phone and email
- Scheduling technicians and coordinating daily workloads
- Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Using Microsoft Office and our business management systems
- Working closely with field staff to ensure exceptional customer service
- Contributing ideas to improve processes and customer experience
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in producing accurate work and likes being part of a collaborative team.
You'll ideally bring:
- First and foremost, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new software
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Reliability, initiative and a genuine team-first approach
- Experience in scheduling, administration, construction, trade or home services industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
What you'll receive:
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Opportunities for career progression as the business grows
- A supportive leadership team that values your contribution
- Modern systems and technology designed to make your job easier
- Free onsite parking
- Stable, long-term employment with an established business
- Performance incentives and recognition programs
